Cindy “Crash” Raschke was an artist who hand painted anything and everything. Paper, wood, walls, boots, guitars, bikes, hotrods, EVERYTHING! Interestingly, she found that one of her favorites was the inside of a Cheerios box. Good to know in case you are a painter that likes Cheerios.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas she was a self supporting artist for over 30 years. She has passed away, but she is still loved for both her personality and her work. Crashartaustin is being managed by her younger brother and her nephew. It's goal is to keep sending the Crash good vibes through her stories and work. You can see Crash artwork (here 😉) on the crashartaustin website. If you are local to Austin, you can also find it via the Blue Genie Art Bazaar which is 1000% fantastic! FYI, You can absorb some of the good vibes at TacoDeli. Every single table was hand painted by Crash. Special, special thanks to our peeps at TacoDeli. They have been friends and supporters for a very long time. We want to thank you for stopping in. Please don’t be a stranger. |
